I just love fall pictures and my session with this family really felt like a fall day!  We met up at a local park which is one of my favorite spots.  We had a great time wandering around the park.  Alaina was a pro, posing at every chance and Evan eventually came around!  I took so many pictures, it was hard to narrow down my favorites for the blog!  Enjoy!

Last weekend I made the trek out to Nick’s house for his senior pictures.  Their property was so amazing for pictures!  So many trees, trails and a small pond with Grandpa’s old fishing boat!  Nick was a great sport, even joking when he knew we wouldn’t make it to the next spot without me stopping them when I saw a great place.  I took so many pictures, it was hard to narrow down my favorites!

I met Maddison on a very brisk and windy morning which called for a last minute outfit change so she wouldn’t freeze!  But we had a great time together.  She is three and FULL of energy!  Running everyplace, wanting to explore everything!  I love to get a workout in at a photo session!  Here are my favorites!

I can’t believe it!  My little baby girl started Kindergarten today. Everyone says it, but IT’S TRUE – IT GOES BY SO FAST!!!  I truly feel like we just brought her home yesterday.  She was so excited, so ready, feeling like such a big kid.  I, on the other hand, was a total mess.  Had to wear dark sunglasses to the bus stop and avoid her all morning so she wouldn’t see my tears.  I wasn’t sad, I really am excited for her.  I just feel like I can’t figure out where the time went and scared at how fast it will go before she’s 18.  She’s my baby.  My first baby.  This summer, for her 5th birthday this summer I ended up looking through all our old pictures from the time she was born.  It was really fun to see how she has grown.

From our sweet little newborn, that slept like a champ from day 1.

To the happiest one year old.

A super two year old.

Turning Three and becoming the best big sister Lola could ever have.  They love each other so much, and I know Lola will miss her everyday at daycare.  As evidenced today, when the bus drove away and Lola was crying “I want my sister, I want my sister”.

Winning Dad’s heart learning to water ski at 4 last summer.  She had already won it, but her interest in skiing sealed the deal!

And playing in the yard with Mom.

And now she’s 5 and ready for school.  I wanted to start a tradition of taking a picture on the first day of school in the same place, so we decided on the dock steps down.

Then we were off to the bus.  She wanted to walk by herself, we must be embarrassing already!

When she saw the bus coming up the hill she had the best smile on her face!  The bus driver was telling her to turn around so I could take a picture.  She didn’t.  Just got right on that bus and found a girl to sit with.

I was nervous all day.  Wondering how her day was going.  And when she got off the bus, and we saw this smile, we knew she had the best day.

Kindergarten was a success!  She can’t wait to go back tomorrow.  I probably won’t cry tomorrow.  I am so excited to see how her year turns out, which I know will come before I know it.  Life goes faster than you think.

These cuties came over on a nice sunny Monday morning! And these kids made my job so easy!  They listened so well!  I especially love how cute they were interacting with each other.  Liam is such a great big brother!  Here are some of my favorites.  Happy Labor Day!
