The Malvey’s!

Last weekend we had scheduled a session for what was supposed to be a nice sunny morning, but turned out the be a very rainy morning.  We decided to postpone, but as the day went on the weather kept getting better and we quickly gathered everyone up in the afternoon!  Nice when your sister-in-law is also your photographer :)! Aren’t my niece and nephew CUTE?!?!  I particularly love Kaili’s red glasses and the outfit she chose herself!  That same night we had them over to swim and got to include some fun shots jumping off the dock at sunset!  Enjoy!

Sunset

I’m taking the ISO – In Search Of challenge again!  The last one was a success – I won for the the summertime shot!  Yay!  :)  It’s actually been really fun doing them each week, even though I haven’t entered all the challenges, it’s really great to try new things!  So this week is Flare, and I just had to grab the camera when the sun was shining just right through the clouds down on the lake. SO GORGEOUS!  I feel so lucky that I get to look at this view almost every night!

White Bear Lake Water Ski Team

I was lucky enough to spend last Saturday morning with the “White Bear Lake Water Ski Team“.  A really fun group of guys that have skied together for many many years.  They are out there nearly every day, from ice out to the first snow!  It was fun to see where Doug disappears to every Saturday and Sunday morning.  We got out there at 7 and the sky and water were just beautiful.  An early morning on the lake is so peaceful!

The “bench”…

After the first successful pass, the mandatory flex!

Getting the buoy’s…

Thanks for the fun!  Next year, maybe I’ll take a run!

The Mullaney Family!

I had a blast with this family!  We met up at their lake access on a great summer morning. The kids were so fun to shoot!  Calli is so sweet and Wyatt is full of spunk!  His expressions are priceless!  Thank you Mullaneys for spending the morning with me!

Seven Years!

On August 6, 2004 – a perfect summer day on Harriet Island – I married my best friend!
7 (11) years, 2 houses, 2 kids, 2 home renovations, 3 years of law school and
countless nights on the dock together….
Happier than ever!
Happy Anniversary Doug.  I love you more each day!
